New year comes early to Maiya's

Just finished enjoying a packet of Kodebales from Maiya's. Only later did it occur to me that I should looked at the expiry date. Surprise - I had just opened a pack that was packed in the future.. Jan 2012.

Have emailed the address on the packet (contactus@maiyas.in). Waiting for an response.


Is it even legal? Or is there a accounting funda that I am missing here? Coz, remember seeing similar packing date issue on packed cashews in Reliance Fresh.
